A football match is 90 minutes long. There are two halves, and each half is 45 minutes. There is also a 15-minute break.

Before every home match, the fans at Anfield sing a song. The song is "You'll Never Walk Alone". It has been the club's anthem since the early 1960s. Many fans hold up their scarves when they sing.
