Why this works:

1. "I play tennis"

This uses play with a ball game.

2. "I go swimming on"

This uses go with an -ing sport and adds a day.

3. "My friend does karate"

This uses does for one friend doing a martial art.

4. "there is a hockey club"

This tells the reader about a club at school.

5. "My favourite sport is football"

This names the number one sport and says why ("because it is very fun").
