Mistakes to Listen For:

  • Using plural verbs with singular demonstratives: "This are my books" → Correct: "These are my books" or "This is my bed".
  • Confusing singular and plural forms: "Those is her lamp" → Correct: "That is her lamp".
  • Missing possessive pronouns: "This is the bed" instead of "This is my bed".
🔀

Variations

1. Easy (Support Mode)

Speakers may point with gestures while saying "This is..." or "That is..." to help their partner visualize positions.

2. Medium (Standard Mode)

Pairs sit strictly back-to-back and must speak clearly without hand signals.

3. Hard (Challenge Mode)

The describer can only say each sentence one single time. The drawer cannot ask questions.

4. Fast Finishers

Draw a new custom room with 5 items on the floor, then swap and describe it to a partner.
